Project:
Parklife Putney
Short Description:
We supplied and erected over 320 tonnes of steel for this building on Putney High Street, London, for McLaughlin & Harvey. The 82,000 sq ft of offices, retail and leisure are arranged around a central courtyard. Therefore the working area for the crane and for material set-down and storage was very restricted. The original structure was retained on two sides but with two storeys added above. The other two sides with road frontage comprised of new steelwork from ground floor up. This 5-storey structure was complicated by the irregular footprint and the challenges of construction above and adjacent to the existing building.
Location:
London

McLaughlin & Harvey
