Short Description:
We carried out this large extension to an existing factory for P & K McKaigue. This double-span portal frame building consisted of 330 tonnes of steel and approximately 6000 metres of cold-rolled purlins and rails. Each 23 metre span has crane rails for the full length of the building and a galvanized canopy cantilevers out nearly 9 metres on one side elevation. Heavy girders at some valley locations allow wider access between the separate parts of the factory.
